The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted light rain and thundershowers for Bengaluru on November 30, with cloudy skies expected throughout the day. The city is likely to experience cooler temperatures, with a minimum of around 18 degrees Celsius, which could drop further in the evening.

Residents have been advised to prepare for chilly weather, caused by a combination of rain, wind, and the overcast conditions. The IMD also recommended staying indoors unless necessary, and urged those venturing outside to carry raincoats or umbrellas. The weather is expected to remain similar in the coming days, with temperatures fluctuating between 18 and 26 degrees Celsius.
In addition to the weather conditions, the IMD warned of potential traffic congestion in various parts of the city due to the rainfall. Commuters have been urged to check traffic updates before heading out.
The cloudy and rainy conditions in Bengaluru and other areas of Karnataka are linked to Cyclone Fengal, which is impacting several districts of Tamil Nadu, already placed under a red alert. Authorities in the affected regions have closed schools and colleges and advised residents to avoid public parks and beaches due to the cyclone’s impact.
