11 restaurants from Bengaluru feature in Condé Nast Traveller’s ‘India’s Top 50 Restaurants’ list

      Bengaluru had the second highest number of restaurants from a single city in the list

    No restaurant featured in the top 10 restaurants

    Lupa located in MG Road provides a European cuisine with a contemporary twist

The Condé Nast Traveller’s top 50 restaurants list that is selected from over 1000 restaurants across the country by a jury of more than 100 individuals including food writers, critics, creators and other tastemakers announced the results for the year 2023 at the Taj Land End, Bandra. Bengaluru Oota Company, Le Cirque Signature, Lupa, Farmlore, Karavali, Falak, Burma Burma Restaurant and Tea Room, Oota Bangalore, Naru Noodle Bar and the Boteco Restaurante Brasileiro featured in the list from Bengaluru.  Bengaluru had the second highest number of restaurants from a single city in the list lagging behind Mumbai that had 12 restaurants, although none among the restaurants featured in the top 10 restaurants. 

Bengaluru Oota Company is located in Ulsoor and offers a 5-course meal specialising in Mangalorean-Gowda cuisine. Le Cirque Signature is located inside the Leela Palace and essentially provides a combination of Italian and French cuisine. Lupa located in MG Road provides a European cuisine with a contemporary twist. Farmlore located in Bagalur has a tradition of revealing the details of the menu only after an individual arrives after reservation. The ingredients are procured from the farm that is grown nearby and a wood-fire oven and pit-stove are used for cooking.
