The 15th edition of the Bengaluru International Film Festival (BIFFes) will be held between February 29th and March 7th. This would be the 15th edition of the BIFFes. BIFFes has the necessary accreditation from theInternational Federation of Film Producers' Associations (FIAFP). Chief Minister Siddaramiah chaired the organising committee meeting. “films promoting harmony, gender equality, awareness about the Constitution, and inclusiveness will be screened,” he said. N. Vidyashankar would be the artistic director of the BIFFes. Rs 1.6 crore have been allocated for the BIFFes.
The inaugural ceremony of the BIFFes will be held in front of the Vidhana Soudha on February 29th. The Chief Minister will declare the commencement of the event. The award distribution will be held on March 7th. Governor Thawaarchand Gehlot will hand over the trophies to the winners. The award distribution will take place in the Banquet Hall in the Vidhana Soudha.
The films will be broadcast across 11 screens in the PVR Orion Mall, Rajajinagar. Films starring the late Leelavathi will be screened in the film festival. Films of Bhagvan and C.V Shivashankar will also be screened. Apart from this, films from across the globe will be screened in the BIFFes.
