19-year-old Rhea Singha crowned Miss Universe India 2024

Rhea Singha, a 19-year-old model, actor, and TEDx speaker, has been crowned Miss Universe India 2024. The much-anticipated event took place on Sunday in Jaipur, Rajasthan, where Rhea emerged as the winner, securing her spot to represent India at the global Miss Universe pageant later this year.

In her emotional acceptance speech, Rhea expressed immense gratitude for the opportunity, acknowledging the hard work and dedication it took to reach this milestone. "I have worked so hard to get here, and I'm truly honored to carry this title. I draw inspiration from the previous winners who have paved the way," she said.

Dressed in a stunning peach-golden gown for the finale, Rhea dazzled in various rounds, including a metallic red bikini for the swimsuit segment and a white, red, and yellow ensemble with a veil for the costume round. Notably, she held a Shivling during her cultural representation.

The event was judged by Urvashi Rautela, Miss Universe India 2015, who praised the finalists for their hard work and beauty, expressing confidence in India's potential to reclaim the international crown.

As Rhea gears up for the Miss Universe competition, she remains focused on representing Indian culture and talent on the global stage.
