Darshan has been rather silent in prison

Sandalwood actor Darshan also referred to as the Challenging Star and his close associates have landed in jail over suspicion of involvement in the murder of Renukaswamy. The parents of Renukaswamy met Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and requested a government job for Renukaswamy’s widowed wife. “We requested for a job on compassionate grounds. We were asked to produce relevant documents. The response of CM Siddaramaiah was encouraging,” Shivanagouda, the father of Renukaswamy stated. 

26th June marks Darshan’s 5th day in the Parapanna Agrahara Prison. Vinay shared a cell with Darshan. Reports indicate that Darshan has been rather silent during his stay at the jail. He is believed to be in an introspective mode ever since his wife Vijayalakshmi and son Vinish met him.

Darshan is said to be in possession of 2 American Made pistols. Actor Pradosh also supposedly has a licenced pistol. As per protocol, such weapons have to be handed over to police ahead of the Lok Sabha Elections. In light of the case in which they are being investigated, the Girinagar Police Station under whose jurisdiction Prodosh’s house falls and the RR Nagar Police Station under whose jurisdiction have been instructed to retrieve the guns from them. The instruction was given by officers investigating Renukaswamy’s murder.
