The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the results for the 12th grade in 2025. This year, 88.39% of students successfully passed the exams, with a notable 91% of female students outperforming their male counterparts. A total of 16,92,794 students appeared for the exams held from February 15 to April 4, 2025, and 14,96,307 students passed. The pass percentage has seen a slight increase of 0.41% compared to last year.

Vijayawada emerged as the top-performing region with an impressive pass rate of 99.60%, followed by Thiruvananthapuram at 99.32%, and Chennai at 97.39%. Bengaluru secured the 4th position with a pass rate of 95.95%. On the other hand, Prayagraj recorded the lowest pass rate of 79.53%.
For those seeking to check their results, CBSE offers multiple options, including online platforms, mobile apps, SMS, and IVRS. Additionally, students can obtain a digital marks card through the online portal.
