While cricket fans are gripped by IPL 2025 Final fever, another major announcement has sparked global interest, the dates and venues for the 2025 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup have been officially declared. The tournament will be held from September 30 to November 2, 2025, across five key cities in India and Sri Lanka.

The biggest highlight for Indian fans is that the tournament opener will be played in Bengaluru on September 30, where the Indian women’s team will take the field. In addition, one of the two semifinal matches will also be hosted in Bengaluru or Colombo on October 30. The first semifinal is scheduled for October 29 in Guwahati or Colombo, while the grand final will take place on November 2, just three days after the second semifinal.

The selected venues include Bengaluru, Guwahati, Indore, and Visakhapatnam in India, and Colombo in Sri Lanka. A total of 8 teams will participate in the tournament: India, Australia, England, South Africa, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. Notably, all of Pakistan’s matches, including any potential semifinal or final, will be hosted exclusively in Colombo for logistical and political considerations.
