A 3-day ‘Nature in Focus Festival 2023’ that is being held at Jayamahal Palace Hotel in Bengaluru from July 28 to 30, has given a clarion call to preserve biodiversity on the inaugural day of the event on July 28.

As an integral part of ‘Nature in Focus Festival 2023’, film screenings, expert talks, exhibitions, workshops and a sustainable flea market are being held at the event to promote people’s connection and involvement in preserving nature and biodiversity.

This festival that began as a platform for wildlife photographers in 2014 has today transformed into a festival spanning 3 days for all nature lovers.

“Policy makers, experts, senior officials from the forest and police departments would be taking part in this festival to share a dialogue on all things nature,” said Rohit Varma, the founder of ‘Nature in Focus Festival’.

Organisers and attendees of this festival believe that festivals like this will have a big impact on wildlife or environmental awareness among people.

This festival is a coming together of nature lovers, policy makers, filmmakers, environmentalists, wildlife experts from across the globe.

Film awards ceremony was also held as part of this festival where the ‘Nature in Focus Film Awards 2023’ winners were revealed.
