6 students from Karnataka feature in top 100 as NEET results have been announced

The results of the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2024 have been announced. 6 students from Karnataka have performed phenomenally well exceptionally well in the examination. 6 students from Karnataka feature in the list of the top 100 students across India. 

A student named Arjun Kishore has achieved the stunning feat of having scored 720 out of 720 marks and earning the top spot in the country.  V.Kalyan, Shyam Kishore Joseph, Arjun Kishore, Padmanabh Menon, Pragnya P.Shetty and Kushi Maganoor have managed to find a spot among the top 100. 

They have earned a percentile higher than 99.98 to earn the status of being toppers. 24 lakh students had registered for the test. They can check out their result through the official portal of the National Testing Agency (NTA).

The test was conducted on May 5th in 13 languages. It is a basis for entrance to medical courses across the country. The test took place in 571 cities within India and 14 cities in other parts of the world. There were 4750 centres wherein the test took place. 13.7 Lakh female candidates and 10.2 lakh male candidates appeared for the exam.
