While many Indians are migrating abroad for better opportunities, a contrasting trend is emerging where foreigners are developing a deep fascination with India’s culture, diversity and spirit. After spending ten months in the country, she shared her journey in a video that has since gone viral.

In the video, Astrid explained how life in Denmark had grown monotonous. Despite having a good job, friends, and a comfortable lifestyle, she felt uninspired and stuck in a cycle of waiting for summer to bring some excitement. India, on the other hand, reawakened her zest for life. She traveled across various regions from Rishikesh to Goa and Mumbai and found herself falling in love with the country, natural beauty and warm hospitality.

Astrid shared that her time in India transformed her perspective and helped her rediscover her dreams. She expressed gratitude for the opportunity to explore and learn from India, describing it as one of the best decisions of her life. Though she plans to visit Europe for the summer, she intends to return after the monsoon.
