While there is no official confirmation yet, multiple media outlets suggest that the two superstars will collaborate once again, marking their first on-screen reunion in 30 years. ‘Coolie,’ a big-budget project, has already generated significant buzz among movie enthusiasts.

Aamir Khan’s involvement in the film has come as a surprise to many, though reports indicate that the actor will only appear in a special cameo rather than a full-fledged role. Initially, the role of the antagonist was supposed to be played by Nagarjuna, but Kannada star Upendra has since taken over the part.

The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Amitabh Bachchan, Shruti Haasan, and Rana Daggubati in pivotal roles. Contrary to earlier speculations, director Lokesh Kanagaraj recently clarified that ‘Coolie’ is not part of his cinematic universe (LCU) but stands alone as a unique project.

Filming began in Hyderabad in July 2024, with a release expected in the latter half of 2025. Fans eagerly await the official announcement and the chance to see Aamir Khan and Rajinikanth share the screen once more.
