Sandalwood actor Pradosh among accused

Suspects were interrogated on individual basis

The allegations levelled against Sandalwood actor Darshan also referred to as the Challenging Star has created shockwaves across Karnataka. Darshan has spent his last 2 nights inside a police lockup. The 11th accused in the case Nagaraj Rachayya is reported to have broken down to tears in front of the police officials investigating the incident. 

Nagaraj was taken by the officials to the spot wherein Renukaswamy is believed to have been tortured. A spot inspection of the area was conducted. He is said to have cried during his interrogation. All suspects were interrogated on an individual basis. 

Nagaraj is a close aide of Darshan. He is a diehard fan of the actor. In the past, a social media post was made in which derogatory language was used against Darshan. At that point of time, Nagaraj had filed a complaint against the person who made the post. He is believed to have played a prominent role in the murder of Renukacharya.

Interestingly, among the 14 arrested, there is another actor named Pradosh who has acted in films such as Bulbul and Brundavana. He is also said to have worked in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) IT cell.
