Despite experiencing pain, Ravi Teja continued shooting, which exacerbated the injury. This led to a necessary surgical procedure at Yashoda Hospitals, where doctors successfully treated the muscle tear. A representative for the actor confirmed that Ravi Teja has been prescribed six weeks of bed rest to ensure full recovery.
In a statement released by his team, they shared, “Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja recently sustained a muscle tear in his right hand during the filming of RT 75. Despite the injury, he continued to shoot, which unfortunately led to further aggravation. Yesterday, he underwent successful surgery and is now on the road to recovery.”
Ravi Teja’s recent film, Mr. Bachchan, a Telugu remake of the 2018 Bollywood hit Raid, failed to perform at the box office. The actor’s next project, directed by Bhanu Bhogavarapu and featuring Sreeleela, is expected to release during Sankranthi next year. The film was launched in June with a pooja ceremony and is produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
