In a significant boost for travelers, two new direct routes from Bengaluru are being introduced. Starting December 27, Bengaluru will be connected to Amritsar with four weekly flights. Additionally, from January 1, three weekly flights will link Bengaluru to Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Bookings for these routes are now open via the airline’s website and other major channels.
The expansion doesn’t stop there. Bengaluru recently saw the launch of new services to Indore and Port Blair (Sri Vijaya Puram). Meanwhile, flights to Abu Dhabi have been increased to daily operations, and a new route to Patna will commence on January 15.
Mangaluru airport is also experiencing a surge in connectivity. Starting January 4, the city will have flights to Pune, followed by services to Singapore on January 21 and Delhi on February 1. With these additions, Mangaluru now enjoys direct connections to Singapore, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, and eight destinations in West Asia.
This expansion reinforces Air India Express’s role as a key player in enhancing Karnataka’s domestic and international travel options.
