Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt turned heads at the lavish wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, held at the Jio World Center in Mumbai. The star-studded event, which took place on Friday, saw Alia dazzling in a 160-year-old Ashavali saree, designed by renowned fashion designer Manish Malhotra.

The exquisite saree, woven in Gujarat, is made of pure silk and adorned with a real zari border composed of 99 percent pure silver. Adding to its opulence, the saree incorporates approximately 6 grams of pure gold. Alia paired the vibrant pink saree with a strapless blouse, creating a perfect blend of traditional elegance and contemporary chic.

Alia's look was further enhanced by a stunning gold and emerald choker necklace, along with matching earrings and a maang tika. Her hair was styled in a sleek bun adorned with flowers, while her makeup featured a subtle, dewy look with nude lips.

The Ambani family spared no expense for the wedding of their youngest son, Anant, with the celebrations expected to continue until July 14. The event attracted numerous dignitaries, celebrities, and politicians from around the world.

Alia Bhatt's choice to wear a vintage saree not only showcased her impeccable style but also paid homage to India's rich textile heritage.

While the exact price of the saree was not disclosed, it is rumoured to be around Rs 2 crores, reflecting the luxurious nature of the Ambani wedding and the exquisite craftsmanship of the garment.
