Actor Allu Arjun has announced financial aid of ₹25 lakh to the family of Revathi, the woman who tragically lost her life during a stampede at the premiere of Pushpa 2 at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. The incident, which occurred two days ago, also left her eight-year-old son critically injured and hospitalized.

In a heartfelt message shared on social media, Arjun expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy. "It is devastating to learn about this incident. Going to the movies is meant to be a joyful experience, but this has left us all heartbroken," he said. The actor assured the family of his full support, including covering medical expenses for the injured child.

Arjun added that he would personally meet the family to offer his condolences while respecting their privacy. "I am deeply heartbroken by this tragedy. My sincerest condolences to the grieving family. They are not alone in their pain," he wrote on X.

Meanwhile, the boy remains in critical condition at KIMS Secunderabad. According to a hospital statement, the child is on mechanical ventilation and is showing gradual neurological improvement but continues to face complications, including fever spikes and respiratory challenges.

Urging fans to prioritize safety, Arjun said, "Our aim is to bring joy through cinema. Please take care and ensure you return home safely after enjoying a film."

The tragic incident has cast a shadow over the highly anticipated Pushpa 2, reminding fans and industry stakeholders of the importance of crowd management at events.
