Tollywood sensation Allu Arjun has reportedly set a new benchmark in Indian cinema remuneration, with a staggering Rs 300 crore fee for his role in the highly anticipated sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rule.
If confirmed, this would make Arjun the highest-paid actor in India, edging out previous record-holder Thalapathy Vijay, who is said to have earned Rs 275 crore for Thalapathy 69, directed by H. Vinoth. Vijay previously topped the charts, surpassing Shah Rukh Khan’s Rs 250 crore for an earlier project.

Arjun’s rise in the pay hierarchy is largely attributed to the overwhelming success of Pushpa: The Rise, which captivated audiences nationwide. The sequel, directed once again by Sukumar, is scheduled for a December 5 release across six languages. As Allu Arjun reprises his role as the notorious Pushpa Raj, alongside Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli and Fahadh Faasil as SP Bhanwar Singh, expectations are sky-high.
With the beloved Devi Sri Prasad returning as music director, Pushpa 2 promises to deliver more of the high-octane action and suspense that thrilled audiences in the first installment. However, the production team has yet to officially confirm Arjun’s record-breaking salary, leaving fans eagerly awaiting news about the scale and ambition of this blockbuster.
