The annual day celebrations in the Viveka Vidyasthana school in the Hankere village in the Mandya district had performances of dance and singing by the students.
The program in the institute which is one among several founded by former Member of Parliament M Srinivas was inaugurated by Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Ganiga Ravikumar. The institute was founded 40 years back. A presentation showed the progress made by these institutes. The M.S International School has a 100% pass percentage currently. There were many guests who had gathered on this occasion including the MD and CEO of NewsFirst S. Ravikumar, the Acting President of the Viveka Vidyasthana H.N Yogesh, Film Director Prashant Raj and Garuda Mall CEO R.Nandesh. The founder and CEO of Mindblue LLP Senthil Kumar was honoured by the school.
MD and CEO of NewsFirst S. Ravikumar addressed the gathering on this occasion. “I was not aware that a school in Hankere is developed to such an extent. Along with good education, children must also be given important life lessons. I would request the parents to rather give children education as opposed to mobiles,” he said.
Along with cultural programs, students who had achieved milestones were honoured on this occasion.
