Amazon Great Summer Sale 2025 kicks off May 1 with massive discounts

Amazon's much-anticipated Great Summer Sale 2025 is set to begin at midnight on May 1, exclusively for Prime members. Non-Prime customers can access the sale starting at 12pm (noon) on the same day. The mega sale promises discounts of up to 80% across a wide range of categories, including electronics, fashion, home décor, kitchen essentials, and more.

To enhance savings, Amazon has partnered with HDFC Bank to offer a 10% instant discount on credit card and EMI transactions. Additional benefits include no-cost EMI options, exchange offers, coupon-based discounts, and exclusive deals for Amazon Pay ICICI credit card users.

While Amazon has not officially announced the sale's end date, it is expected to run for several days. Customers looking to grab high-demand products are encouraged to shop early.

Prime members, who pay Rs. 1,499 annually or opt for monthly/quarterly plans, can enjoy early access along with perks like Prime Video, Prime Music, and free shipping. Cheaper alternatives like Prime Lite (Rs. 799/year) and Prime Shopping Edition (Rs. 399/year) are also available.

The sale includes up to 40% off on smartphones, up to 60% off on tablets, and up to 65% off on home appliances and smart TVs. Top deals include discounts on the iPhone 15, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, OnePlus 13R, and more. TVs from Xiaomi and Sony will also see price drops, along with offers on Amazon-branded devices.
