Though the entire nation is mourning the tragic loss of innocent lives in the Pahalgam terror attack and expressing collective pride in the Armed Forces’ success during Operation Sindoor, a few individuals have chosen to spread divisive and inflammatory messages at a time when unity is paramount.

In Karnataka’s Raichur district, Turvihal Police detained a youth named Ajmeer from K. Hosalli village after he posted derogatory comments about Prime Minister Modi and the Rafale fighter jets on social media. PSI Sujata confirmed to NewsFirst Prime that a case has been registered and Ajmeer is under interrogation.
In a separate case in Bengaluru, police arrested a man named Nawaz for uploading a disturbing Instagram video calling for a bomb attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence. The video, shared amid heightened India-Pakistan tensions, questioned why Pakistan hadn’t bombed the PM's house. Acting on the viral clip, authorities tracked Nawaz to a PG accommodation in Bandepalya. He was arrested and remanded to Parappana Agrahara Central Jail. Originally from Electronic City and working as a computer mechanic, Nawaz was also found to have a pending NDPS case in Tumakuru. Joint Commissioner (East) Ramesh Baanoth confirmed the arrest and stated that Nawaz would be presented in court for judicial custody.
These arrests follow an earlier incident in Mangaluru, where a Facebook user was booked for allegedly justifying the April 22 Pahalgam terrorist attack.
Such acts highlight the troubling reality that enemies of peace do not always lie across borders, some operate from within. At a time when the country is striving to recover from terror and build on the unity forged by the Armed Forces, individuals like these attempt to derail peace efforts and sow discord. Their actions serve as a reminder that national integrity must be protected not just on the battlefield, but also within our own communities.
