Union Home Minister Amit Shah has issued a stern warning to terrorists following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, declaring that India will deliver a precise and powerful response to such acts under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.

“This is Modi’s India,” Shah said on Thursday, “and revenge will be taken — one by one.” His comments, the first since the brutal attack in Jammu & Kashmir, reflect the government’s renewed commitment to eliminating terrorism from the country.
The Pahalgam incident, which resulted in the deaths of 25 tourists and one local resident, is among the deadliest civilian-targeted attacks in recent years. The terrorists struck at a picturesque hill meadow that is typically accessed via horse trails or footpaths — a location that underscores the vulnerability of even remote tourist destinations.
Reaffirming India’s determination, Shah declared, “We will uproot terrorism from every inch of this country.” He also noted strong global solidarity, stating, “Not just 140 crore Indians, but the entire world is standing with us.”
He emphasized that justice would be served and those behind the attack would be punished appropriately. The Home Minister’s message aimed to reassure citizens and signal to the international community that India remains resolute in its counter-terrorism efforts.
