The iconic Amitabh Bachchan has returned to television screens with the 16th edition of the popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC). The revelation came after a touching moment on the show when contestant Nareshi Meena, who had aspired to become an Investigation Officer, shared her struggle with a brain tumor. Moved by her story, Bachchan praised her courage, saying, "It takes immense courage for a woman to speak openly about such matters. You've held onto the hope that winning on KBC could fund your treatment. Your resilience is admirable, but let go of those worries—your hidden tumor will be taken care of too."
During the episode, Bachchan proudly spoke about Navya's initiatives. "My granddaughter does this individually from her own earnings. She isn't working for the government but has been taking up these initiatives on her own. Recently, she set up an NGO with her own funds, which provides homes for women and ensures they have all the facilities they need."
Navya Naveli Nanda is the founder of Project Naveli, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing women with resources and opportunities to achieve social and economic independence. Her work is a testament to the impact of individual effort in bringing about positive change.
