Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, has embarked on a 180-kilometre spiritual trek from Jamnagar to the sacred city of Dwarka in Gujarat, ahead of his 30th birthday on April 10. Initially reported as a 140-km journey, Reliance clarified the actual distance to be 180 km.

This spiritual walk, which began five days ago, is expected to conclude within the next few days. Along the route, Anant is being joined by locals and devotees, walking around 18 to 20 km each day. The trek is being undertaken as a form of devotion ahead of having darshan of Lord Krishna at the Dwarkadhish temple.
Despite facing serious health challenges, including Cushing’s syndrome—a rare hormonal disorder—morbid obesity, asthma, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), Anant has remained committed to the rigorous journey. A Reliance spokesperson reportedly confirmed that the trek follows years of recovery and personal effort by Anant to overcome these chronic conditions.
Anant, who has reportedly been walking up to 20 km every night in preparation, is said to view this journey as a spiritual rebirth. The Ambani family, known for their deep spiritual beliefs, has previously participated in events like the Kumbh Mela and other pilgrimages.
The trek stands as a testament to Anant’s resilience and spiritual devotion, drawing support from devotees and well-wishers along the way.
