Andhra Pradesh: Pawan Kalyan fans go overboard in celebrations; get arrested

Samuthirakani directorial Bro, released on 28th July in theatres. This was a celebratory moment for his fans across the board. However a few fans took the celebrity worship to the next level. Pawan Kalyan plays the role of the immortal time in the film. His performance seems to have mesmerised them beyond belief.

They performed an Abhishekam (auspicious bath for deity) with milk while the film was getting screened in the theatre. This did not end well for any of the parties involved. While the theatre incurred losses by virtue of the damage caused to the screens, the young men involved in this too had to bear the brunt of the police arresting them for vandalism. They were taken away in jeeps with torn shirts and could be seen weeping while being escorted by the police. The incident occurred in Soundarya theatre located in the Parvathipuram municipality in Andhra Pradesh. 

Meanwhile Bro has had a phenomenal run in the theatres. It has collected more than 75 crore just from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in the first 3 days of its screening. If the collections from the overseas markets were to be added the collection stands tall at 78 Crore at the moment.
