Anju returns to India after spending 5 months in Pakistan with Nasrullah

Anju, who had left India to reside in Pakistan has now returned to the Wagah border in India. The authorities in Amritsar Airport are conducting certain enquiries. Anju would later be directed to Delhi. 

34-year-old Anju had left for Pakistan in July to meet her friend whom she met online named Nasrullah. 29-year-old Nasrullah was residing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. She changed her name to Fatheema. As per reports in the Pakistan media, Anju has converted her religion to become a muslim. 

When she had left for Pakistan, she did not have marriage in her mind. She had planned to return to India on August 20th when her visa would expire. But their marriage took place during this time. This extended her visa in Pakistan by one year. Her visit to India might be for the renewal of visa. 

Anju had converted to Christianity in order to marry Arvind. She bore two children with him. She told her husband that she is visiting Jaipur for work related reasons and moved to Pakistan. Reuniting with Arvind could also be one of the reasons for her to visit India. There is no clarity with regard to this at the moment.
