Another disturbing case of moral policing has emerged from Bengaluru, involving a Muslim girl and a Hindu boy who were sitting together in a park. A video, which has since gone viral, shows a man approaching the pair while recording the encounter on his phone.

He confronts the girl, asking her to remove her burqa and reveal her name, implying suspicion about her identity and relationship. The girl pleads with him not to create a scene, but he continues to intimidate her, warning that a “committee” would soon arrive to take action. The exact location and timing of the incident are currently unknown. However, the video has been posted on X and tagged to the city’s Police Commissioner, prompting an investigation. Bengaluru police have confirmed that they are collecting further details regarding the incident.

This incident comes shortly after a similar case in Chandra Layout, where a Hindu boy and Muslim girl were harassed for being seen together. These recurring cases of moral policing have sparked growing concern over personal freedoms and rising intolerance in public spaces.
