Angry demonstrators, led by the Rashtriya Bajrang Dal (RBD) and its president Rakesh Kumar, marched through Jammu, chanting slogans against Pakistan and burning its flag. Kumar strongly condemned the attack, calling it a deliberate and targeted killing of Hindus. He pointed out the timing of the incident, just before the annual Amarnath Yatra, as a clear attempt to intimidate Hindu pilgrims. Kumar also mentioned survivor accounts stating that the terrorists identified their victim before opening fire, reinforcing claims of a targeted attack.

In a separate protest, members of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha gathered in Jammu’s Muthi area, demanding a strong crackdown on terrorism and justice for the victims. Demonstrators raised slogans against Pakistan and the attackers. Similar protests were also reported in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district, showing widespread public outrage and demands for action.
