A.R Rehman had earlier changed his X (formerly known as Twitter) bio to reflect that the tweets are made by an administrator and not him after the account replied by showing gratitude to a fan who enjoyed the concert and ignored the several complaints people expressed over the event. He had subsequently posted “Dearest Chennai Makkale, those of you who purchased tickets and weren’t able to enter owing to unfortunate circumstances, please do share a copy of your ticket purchase to [email protected] along with your grievances. Our team will respond as soon as possible,” on X.
A user had shared a screenshot of the response by the team when he had sent a mail to [email protected].
“My Sincere apologies to you and to your family for what you had to go through at our concert. It was purely unintentional and we were driven by ambition to deliver an exceptional concert to Chennai that they have never experienced before.
We are actively working towards making amends for the unfavourable experience that you have had. Our team is in the process of reimbursing the amount you spent and has also prepared a surprise for you, which you can expect to receive very shortly. Expressing my gratitude for your unwavering support, prayers, affection, and well wishes throughout these years. I pray that you and your family lead a wonderful life filled with good health.
