Arjun Kapoor confirms single status, ending speculation on relationship with Malaika Arora

Arjun Kapoor has addressed ongoing rumours about his relationship with actress Malaika Arora, confirming that he is single.

At a Diwali celebration hosted by Raj Thackeray at Shivaji Park, Mumbai, on Monday night, Kapoor directly responded to media questions, saying, “Nahin ab main single hoon, relax karo (No, I am now single. Relax).” The clip quickly gained traction online, sparking widespread discussion among fans.

Rumours of a split between Kapoor and Arora had been building, especially after Kapoor shared a cryptic message on social media during Malaika’s recent birthday, quoting Mufasa from The Lion King: "Never forget who you are." The pair, who began dating in 2018, went public in 2019 when Malaika posted a heartfelt birthday message for Kapoor on Instagram. Since then, they’ve often been seen together at social events and dinners.

Speculation about their relationship resurfaced a few months ago, but neither Kapoor nor Arora offered any public comment. In September, Kapoor was seen standing by Arora’s side during her father’s funeral, which temporarily quieted rumours. However, his latest statement now confirms the end of their relationship.

On the professional front, Kapoor will soon appear as the antagonist in Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty, alongside stars like Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Deepika Padukone. The film will blend the worlds of Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi, promising an action-packed cinematic experience.
