Introducing Bengaluru's wealthiest individual, with a staggering net worth of Rs 37,000 crore, surpassing the financial standings of prominent figures like Narayana Murthy and Azim Premji.

Despite the formidable wealth of notable personalities such as Azim Premji with an estimated Rs 30,000 crore, Kiran Mazumdar Shaw with Rs 17,000 crore, and Narayana Murthy with Rs 35,000 crore as per Forbes, none of them claim the title of Bengaluru's wealthiest.

Arjun Menda, Group Chairman and co-founder of RMZ Corp, has emerged as the wealthiest figure in Bengaluru, boasting an impressive net worth of Rs 37,000 crore. RMZ Corp, a privately owned real estate company headquartered in Bengaluru, became Menda's brainchild in the 1980s, following his pursuit of a degree in Production Technology from IIT Kharagpur after being born in 1933 in Shikarpur, Sindh.

Recently, the 360 ONE Wealth Hurun India Rich List for 2023 unveiled Mukesh Ambani as the country's wealthiest, boasting a net worth of Rs 8 lakh crore. Following closely behind were Gautam Adani and Family with an estimated wealth of Rs 4 lakh crore, and Cyrus Poonawalla and Family securing the third spot with a combined wealth exceeding Rs 2 lakh crore.

Moreover, the rich list highlighted India's burgeoning billionaire community, numbering at 259, with Mumbai leading the pack featuring 328 notable business magnates. New Delhi followed suit with 199, and Bengaluru showcased 100 prominent personalities on the list.
