Woman cops surround Prajwal Revanna since his return
He is now in SIT custody for 6 days
The entire nation waited with bated breath as Hassan MP and rape accused Prajwal Revanna flew into Bengaluru from Munich, Germany in the wee hours today, on a Lufthansa flight.
As he landed and completed his immigration processes, he was handed over to the SIT by the CISF sleuths. The entire night, he stayed at the SIT headquarters. Early this morning, he was taken to the Bowring hospital for a medical checkup.
What caught everyone’s imagination was how narishakti was at its peak! It was women police officers who arrested him at the airport, took him to the SIT headquarters and even to the hospital for the checkup. Their heavy presence was to send a message that women can’t be intimidated by predators like Prajwal Revanna. It also means that women victims of his alleged sexcapades got a morale booster.

Now, to the court proceedings. As Prajwal was produced before a local court, the special public prosecutor hit him where it hurt the most as he likened the accused to a ‘psychopath’. For the uninitiated, a psychopath is someone whose ego is at its peak, who lacks empathy and sympathy for others and lacks remorse.
Be that as it is, the court remanded him in SIT custody for 6 days even as the SPP sought a fortnight. He will now be in SIT custody for 6 days, after which the SIT will reproduce him in the court and seek extension.
It was in the last week of last month that Prajwal Revanna flew abroad, after coming to know of his alleged sex tapes being leaked. It is said he travelled from Hassan to KIAL in just 2 hours and took the flight to Germany. As the chorus for him to return hit a crescendo, he put a post on X informing that he would return in 7 days, but he didn’t
But ultimately, an ultimatum served by his grandfather and former PM HD Devegowda was the last nail in the coffin. Earlier this week, he again put out a video informing that he would land on May 31 and he indeed, did! By the way, we should also tell you that Prajwal Revanna openly declared that he had fallen into depression over Rahul Gandhi comparing him to a mass rapist.
Well, be that as it may, the road is certainly not smooth for the accused. While he is at the receiving end, it is the prestigious Gowda family whose reputation is at stake.
