Asian Games 2023: Here’s the list of Indians who won medals and made India proud

The 19th edition of the Asian Games commenced on September 23, 2023, in Hangzhou, China. Asian Games had been postponed by a year due to COVID-19 restrictions in the country. This year, India sent a formidable contingent consisting of over 650 athletes to compete in various events.

As of Day 5 of the Asian Games, India has achieved an impressive medal tally of 24 medals, including 6 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze.

In the overall medal count, China stands at the top with a total of 110 medals, followed by the Republic of Korea with 55 medals and Japan with 51 medals. India currently occupies the 6th position in the medals tally.
