The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the results of the 2024 Civil Services Examination on April 22, with 1,009 candidates clearing the prestigious test. Among them is 23-year-old Ashish Raghuvanshi, who secured an impressive All India Rank of 202 in his first attempt—an achievement that has brought pride to his family and his village.

Hailing from Dangoura village in Ashoknagar, Madhya Pradesh, Ashish is the son of Assistant Sub-Inspector Naresh Raghuvanshi. He completed his early education at Tara Sadan School and pursued a B.Com degree from Delhi University. Ashish had dreamt of becoming an IAS officer since his school days, dedicating himself to that goal with unwavering focus.

Ashish’s preparation was marked by strict discipline. He crafted a focused timetable, dedicating 8 to 10 hours daily to studies. Importantly, he cut off distractions—abstaining from social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook—to maintain complete concentration.

His journey reflects the power of determination, consistency, and sacrifice. While the UPSC exam is known for its rigorous demands, Ashish’s success story proves that with the right mindset and methodical planning, even the toughest goals can be achieved.
