In a shocking incident, a vlogger from Assam, identified as Maya Gogoi, was discovered murdered in a service apartment in Bengaluru's Indira Nagar locality. Police suspect her roommate, Aarav Harni, stabbed her to death and remained with the body for two days before fleeing.

Maya and Aarav had reportedly checked into the service apartment on November 23. Investigators believe Aarav killed Maya on November 24 by stabbing her multiple times in the chest. He allegedly stayed in the suite with her body until early this morning, when he left the premises.

Authorities have launched a manhunt for Aarav, who is said to be from Kerala. Efforts are underway to trace his whereabouts and uncover more details about the case. Maya was employed in Koramangala, and police have dispatched a team to her workplace in HSR Layout to confirm her identity and gather additional information.

Speaking to the media, Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) D Devaraj stated, "We are on the scene and investigating all leads. The accused is from Kerala, and we are working to collect more details about him. Further updates will be provided after the preliminary investigation is completed."

This gruesome incident has sent shockwaves through the city, prompting discussions about safety and security in service apartments.
