    Vaccine could cause VITT

Legal proceedings were initiated by Jamie Scott

Risk of TTS IS slightly higher in people younger than 60: Health Direct

Pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca has admitted that in rare cases the Covishield Vaccine could cause Vaccine Induced Thrombotic Thrombocytopenia (VITT). “It is admitted that the AZ vaccine can, in very rare cases, cause TTS. The causal mechanism is not known…Further, TTS can also occur in the absence of the AZ vaccine (or any vaccine). Causation in any individual case will be a matter for expert evidence,” a confession from the company mentioned in February.

Legal proceedings initiated by an individual named Jamie Scoot who claimed that the vaccination caused him permanent brain injury upon being administered in April 2021 led to the confession. The vaccine was also widely prepared by the Serum Institute of India and used across the country.

A report in HealthDirect also alluded to this risk. “TTS is a very rare side effect that was seen in some people after getting the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine. The AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine is no longer available in Australia. The risk of TTS appears to have been slightly higher in people younger than 60 years of age. The blood clots can occur in different parts of the body, including the brain, the abdomen, the lungs, limb veins and arteries,” the report mentioned.
