In a remarkable feat of determination and achievement, Ananya Singh from Prayagraj has become the youngest Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer at the age of 22. She hails from Prayagraj. It would certainly not be an exaggeration to state that her journey to success has been nothing short of inspiring.

Having excelled academically throughout her schooling, Singh emerged as the district topper in both her Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations, scoring an impressive 96 percent and 98.25 percent respectively. Graduating with honors in Economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi, she continued to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a civil servant.

Despite beginning her dedicated preparation for the UPSC Civil Service Exam in 2019, Singh’s journey to success was swift. Surpassing all expectations, she achieved an impressive All India Rank (AIR) of 51 in her first attempt at the examination.

Reflecting on her preparation strategy, Singh emphasized her commitment to writing practice, particularly in answering questions for the Main exam. Despite time constraints, she managed to excel, fulfilling her lifelong ambition.
