Atlee, who carved a niche for himself in Tamil cinema with hits like Bigil, Theri, and Mersal featuring Thalapathy Vijay, ventured into Bollywood and struck gold with Jawan. The Shah Rukh Khan starrer raked in a whopping ₹1,148.32 crore worldwide, elevating Atlee's stature in the industry. Initially, he planned to work with Salman Khan, but budget disagreements seemingly halted the project. Now, his focus has shifted to Allu Arjun.
Allu Arjun, riding high on the success of Pushpa, was expected to collaborate with director Trivikram Srinivas. However, Atlee’s name has now surfaced as a strong contender for his next big venture. If Atlee secures the ₹100 crore deal, he will become one of the highest-paid directors in Indian cinema.
His track record of delivering commercial blockbusters, from Raja Rani to Jawan, makes him a hot property in the industry. With his potential Tollywood entry, fans eagerly await confirmation of this high-profile collaboration.
