The tragic death of Atul Subhash by suicide, allegedly due to harassment by his wife Nikita and her family, has left a 4-year-old boy without either of his parents. While Nikita and her family were arrested following the incident, the child’s whereabouts and custody remain uncertain, leaving his paternal grandfather, Pavan Kumar, distraught.

Pavan Kumar, deeply anguished by the loss of his son, has now turned his attention to his grandson, expressing his longing to bring the boy into his care. He revealed that he has only seen his grandson via video calls and is desperate to meet him in person. Kumar stated the child is dearer to him than his own son and has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and other authorities for custody.

Atul Subhash left behind a 24-page report detailing alleged harassment by his wife and in-laws, which he claimed drove him to end his life. The arrests of the accused provide some measure of justice, but the unresolved question of the child’s future adds another layer of tragedy to the case.

The incident underscores the far-reaching consequences of domestic disputes, with the young boy caught in a heartbreaking limbo as his family seeks answers.
