According to Dr Kaje, the mortality rate associated with the current strain is minimal, and due to preventive measures taken over the past few years, overall human immunity has strengthened. He highlighted the importance of maintaining both mental and physical health, pointing out that a strong mindset plays a crucial role in warding off illness.
He stressed the need for self-care and preparedness to face any virus—not just COVID—by adopting simple, daily wellness routines. Central to his advice is the role of diet. Dr Kaje described the kitchen as a “powerhouse” of healing, saying that many ingredients commonly found in Indian households hold the key to preventing and managing infections naturally.
While the threat level of the virus may have diminished, Dr Kaje urged people not to become complacent. Continued attention to immunity, hygiene, and mental well-being, he said, will help ensure that society remains resilient in the face of evolving health challenges.
