The Former Chief Minister of Karnataka B.S Yediyurappa from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will make himself available for interrogation by officials in a case filed against him under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) act. This would be the first occasion since the case has been filed wherein Yediyurappa will be interrogated in relation to this case. The investigation will be led by an officer named Prathvi.
It has been 3 months since the case was initially filed against Yediyurappa. The case was filed on March 14th. A complaint was filed in the Sadashivanagar Police Station. Yediturappa had earlier provided a voice sample to aid the investigation of the case. The presence of Yediyurappa for interrogation would mark a compliance with guidelines provided by the Karnataka High Court in relation to this case.
