Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will officially inaugurate the "Shale Prarambhotsava" (School Reopening Festival) at Patel Munichinnappa High School, located in the KPS school premises on Hosur Road, Bengaluru. The event is scheduled to begin at 11 AM and will honor students who excelled in the SSLC examination, including those who achieved a perfect score of 625 out of 625 marks.

In addition to the festivities, the department has directed schools to distribute boiled eggs on the first day itself, as part of the mid-day meal program. This includes ensuring clean drinking water, a hygienic environment, and conducting basic health checks for kitchen staff and helpers. Teachers, headmasters, and supporting staff are instructed to attend school from day one, with schools decorated with flowers, rangoli, and welcoming banners to greet the students.

Across the state, both government and private schools are preparing to welcome back children with enthusiasm and a commitment to their well-being. Essential items for the mid-day meals, such as pulses, vegetables, and other supplies, have been stocked in advance. With cleanliness and readiness prioritized, the reopening of schools marks a fresh beginning for students and educators alike.
