The festival was created by the Unboxing BLR Foundation, founded by Prashanth Prakash and Malini Goyal. The foundation emerged from his book Unboxing BLR, which explores the city’s evolution and potential. Through various initiatives, including urban conservation and publishing data reports, the foundation aims to promote a broader image of Bangalore beyond its identity as a tech city.

Speaking to NewsFirst Prime, Prashanth Prakash said, “This is a unique festival of arts, theatre and music. It is not something that is limited to a particular class of people. This can be experienced by anyone. We have 500 events. This is being held in multiple locations. See what is close to your home and experience the unique culture, theatre and art of Bengaluru.”

The festival highlights the city’s cosmopolitan spirit, offering a platform for both local and international artists.
