A photo has become viral on X, formerly known as twitter. It is from Kakal Kairuchi, a vegetarian eatery in J.P Nagar. The post was made by Dharmesh Ba, creator of India Notes, a newsletter focused on Indian consumer behaviour. The photo consists of the mission and vision statement of the restaurant.

Its mission statement reads, “ To reach the pinnacle of success in food industry by providing unique and healthy, consistent and exciting eating experience to all our client by branching out to Restaurants, Takeaways, Social Event Catering and Corporate Catering”.

Its vision read as “To be the favourite Place where traditionally authentic hygiene food celebrates life and family with heartfelt service”

Netizens found this amusing as mission and vision statements are associated with a corporate setup and to find the same in Drashini was intriguing. The post had got 26.5k impressions, 207 likes and 22 reposts.

“Either founders son completed his MBA or a consultant sold out his skills for some extra sambhar chutney,” a user had commented.

“Founder might have used Chatgpt for branding ideas,” another user said.

Well, Bengaluru is considered to be the start up capital of the country and it is onl;y natural to expect that some of the jargon would carry onto the public space. One can only hope that the restaurant grinds its way to reach its goals.
