As part of this initiative, the certification programmes have been integrated into the undergraduate curriculum for B.Com, BBA, and other commerce and management courses. Students will earn one academic credit for these courses in the third, fourth, and fifth semesters, adding value to their academic journey with practical exposure.

The collaboration offers a diverse range of courses. ICSI is providing certifications in areas such as Financial Accounting and Taxation, Digital Marketing, Business Analytics, Startup Management, Tally Software, HR Practices, Business Communication, and Investment Banking. Meanwhile, NISM is delivering a specialized course on Financial Literacy for Bharat, targeting financial awareness at a broader level.

This initiative follows the signing of Memoranda of Understanding between Bangalore University and the two national-level institutions. By embedding these industry-relevant courses into the academic framework, the university aims to equip students with real-time knowledge and practical skills aligned with current market demands.

The move reflects Bangalore University’s commitment to nurturing job-ready graduates capable of meeting the evolving expectations of the corporate sector.
