Anjali and Sufi's journey commenced over five years ago, enamoring countless with their depiction of love transcending cultural boundaries. Their engagement, occurring a year prior to their separation, unfolded like a fairy tale. Sufi's proposal to Anjali atop New York's iconic Empire State Building was shared exuberantly with their followers through a video post.

However, their idyllic narrative was shattered when Sufi confessed to betraying Anjali mere weeks before their slated nuptials.

"I made an unrecognizable mistake of betrayal by cheating on her a few weeks before our wedding. I've hurt her tremendously, beyond my understanding. I am owning up to my mistake and will continue to do so," Sufi disclosed on Instagram.

"This may come as a shock, but our journey is shifting. We have decided to call off our wedding and end our relationship due to infidelity committed by Sufi," Anjali's post articulated.
