BBMP unveils initiative called ‘Save Mom,’ an AI-driven platform

The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has unveiled a new initiative called ‘Save Mom,’ an AI-driven platform aimed at enhancing maternal and child care. Launched on Wednesday, this pilot program provides a comprehensive 1,000-day follow-up for pregnant women and infants, ensuring timely access to essential health services, according to a post by BBMP on X (formerly Twitter).

The Save Mom initiative is designed to deliver personalized and continuous care, with the goal of improving health outcomes for mothers and children across Bengaluru. By leveraging technology, the BBMP aims to make healthcare smarter and more accessible for the community, ensuring that vital services reach those in need.

In addition to this initiative, the BBMP has also launched a campaign focused on rabies awareness. This campaign seeks to promote rabies prevention and encourage responsible interactions between citizens and stray dogs. As per reports, the BBMP is committed to educating the public on fostering healthy co-existence with the stray dog population, aiming to reduce the risk of rabies while ensuring the safety of both animals and residents.
