The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the 15 man squad for the 2024 T20 World Cup to be held in June in the United States of America (USA) and the West Indies. 4 players have also been named as reserves for the tournament. 

Rohit Shrama will lead the squad in the tournament. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav are the other full time batsmen in the squad. Sanju Samson and Rishabh Pant have been named as wicket keepers much to the delight of fans. KL Rahul has however missed out on a spot. Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dube are the medium pace all rounders in the squad. Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel are the spin bowling all rounders in the squad. Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal have found their place in the squad as full time spinners. Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh and Mohammed Siraj are the time fast bowlers in the squad.

Shubman Gill, Rinku Singh, Khaleel Ahmed and Avesh Khan will travel along with the squad in  the capacity of reserve players. Rituraj Gaikwad, Saneep Sharma, Mukesh Kumar and Abhishek Sharma are some of the fan favourites who missed out on a spot in the squad.
