The Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) will begin metro construction work at Shivaji Circle and Jyothi Café within the Shivajinagar Traffic Police Station limits, leading to a 30-day closure of one side of the road starting November 11. To manage congestion and maintain smooth vehicular movement, Bengaluru Traffic Police have announced traffic restrictions and alternative routes for commuters.

During this period, vehicular movement from Shivaji Road towards Shivaji Circle, Jyothi Café, and the Shivajinagar BMTC Bus Stand will be restricted. Commuters are advised to follow designated detours to minimize traffic disruptions.

Vehicles, including buses, traveling towards Shivajinagar BMTC Bus Stand from Balekundri Junction should turn left at the Traffic Headquarters Junction, continue via Infantry Road, take another left turn at Central Street Junction, and then proceed to the BMTC Bus Stand.

Similarly, vehicles approaching the Shivajinagar BMTC Bus Stand from Shivaji Road must take a right turn at Shivaji Circle, continue along Venkataswamy Naidu Road, and turn left at Balekundri Junction. They are further advised to turn left again at the Traffic Headquarters Junction, proceed through Infantry Road, make another left at Central Street Junction, and finally reach the BMTC Bus Stand.

These measures are intended to mitigate traffic congestion and ensure orderly vehicular movement during the ongoing metro construction. Commuters are encouraged to plan their routes accordingly to avoid delays.
