Bengaluru: 1027 shows for Jailer

Rajnikanth starrer Jailer which would be released on August 10th would have 1027 shows that would be broadcast in Bengaluru. 960 of the shows would be in Tamil. 38 of the shows would be in Telugu. 29 shows would play the Kannada version of the film. 976 of these shows could be booked from BookMyShow. 42 of the shows can be booked from Paytm. 9 of the shows will have an early morning screening. 

Jailer has managed more shows than Avatar 2 which had managed 1014 shows, but is still number 2 in the list. KGF 2 holds the record for getting the most number of shows during release. KGF 2 had managed to get 1037 shows during the time of its release. 

Shiva Rajkumar would also be featured in the film although the trailer did not have any portions of him in it. Malayalam star Mohanlal was also not showcased in the trailer. Although later on, 2 new posters were released wherein the character of Muthuvel Pandian played by Rajnikanth is seen in a face off with the characters played by Shiva Rajkumar and Mohanlal. Shiva Rajkumar plays the role of ‘Ravana in the film although not much is known about the role. The trailer did not reveal much about the plot as well but the audience have been promised of seeing Rajnikanth both in the role of a tame domestic common man as well as that of a ferocious fighter who stops at nothing.
