A 13-year-old boy, Diman Raj, a resident of Goraguntepalya and a seventh-grade student, has been reported missing after visiting Kanteerava Stadium to watch javelin throw practice. The boy left home on Monday morning as usual for tuition but deviated from his routine, heading instead to the stadium. There, he reportedly took a photo with javelin star Neeraj Chopra and sent it to his mother via a bystander’s help. However, he has not been seen or heard from since, raising alarm among his family.

The incident came to light when Diman failed to return home, prompting his parents to file a complaint with Nandini Layout Police late Monday night. Worried parents conducted an exhaustive search throughout the night, scouring areas like Majestic, Malleshwaram, Kanteerava Stadium, and market zones. They also gathered CCTV footage from the vicinity to aid their efforts, though no concrete leads have emerged yet. The family believes Diman may have wandered off after the stadium visit, possibly distracted by the sporting event.
Police have launched an investigation, reviewing the collected footage and interviewing witnesses at the stadium. The case has drawn attention due to Diman’s young age and the unusual circumstances of his disappearance.
